Slow Shutter Speed
How to: Get Cool Painted Light Photographs
Get your camera
Up the ISO from 100 to 200-400
Go to a dark place with a source of light that is moving
Put the camera on shutter speed priority
Set it to around 2"/5" seconds
Keep your camera still. The light moves and makes pretty patterns but if you move the camera it blurs. Use a tripod if you have one, you don't need one just hold it still or put it on a wall or something flat.
Go crazy get snapping. Experiment with colours speeds shapes people light sources. Get out there and enjoy it.
Here are some examples I did for school.
